Abstract This presentation will provide an overview of how Apple Computer leveraged a variety of Internet market research techniques to profile and monitor customer trends on a global basis for the iMac personal computer. The presentation will cover E-mail and web based survey techniques as applied to multi-lingual surveys, adaptive questionnaire surveys, electronic customer panels, recruiting sample frames for conventional market research, and using the internet for interactive price-fea-ture trade-off market research. This session will: Provide practical guidance on the design and implementation of Internet based market research projects; Help you to better understand the scope and costs associated with a variety of Internet market research techniques. Offer strategies for combining Internet and conventional market research techniques.
